Jeanne H. Branch
Information Technology Director
Ms. Branch has served as the information technology director of the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) since November 1994. At DPOR, she has planned and directed the work of the staff of information systems professionals ensuring that the information needs of the agency are met within available resources. She has developed short-and long-range information systems plans for the agency. Ms. Branch has moved the agency from an aging technological infrastructure to leading edge technology.
Prior to assuming her current position, Ms. Branch was responsible for the management and implementation of software systems at the American Telephone and Telegraph (AT&T) company. She had over twenty years experience at AT&T in the information systems development arena. She held various positions from entry level programmer through leader and project manager of large software development teams.
Ms. Branch has a Master of Business Administration degree from Rutgers University concentrating in information systems and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Howard University. She also completed the Dale Carnegie course in Effective Speaking and Human Relations.
