Virginia applicants must first apply to the APELSCIDLA Board for approval to sit for the LARE. Upon Board approval, applicants then register for the exam directly through CLARB.

CLARB partners with Pearson VUE Test Centers to administer the LARE. Candidates may take any section of the LARE in any Pearson VUE Test Center offering the exam, regardless of where you wish to obtain initial licensure.
