BOARD FOR OPTICIANS
The Board for Opticians was established in 1954 to regulate individuals who fit and sell prescription glasses and contact lenses. The Board is comprised of three licensed opticians, an ophthalmologist, and one citizen member. Each member is appointed by the Governor for a four-year term and may not serve for more than two consecutive terms. The Board meets a minimum of four times per year.
