POLYGRAPH EXAMINERS ADVISORY BOARD
The Polygraph Examiners Advisory Board was established in 1968 to regulate individuals who administer and interpret lie detecting tests. The Director of the Department has full governing authority. The Advisory Board is comprised of six licensed polygraph examiners (three PE's in law enforcement and three PE's in private sector) and two citizen members. Each member is appointed by the Director for a four-year term and may not serve for more than two consecutive terms.
