Professional Engineering (PE)

Unfortunately, you failed to achieve a passing score* on the Professional Engineering (PE) examination. 

If you wish to re-take the PE exam, you must register directly with the NCEES at 800-250-3196 or www.ncees.org to schedule.  Only candidates previously approved by the Board are eligible to register.  Additional exam information, registration deadlines, and schedules are available under the Education & Exams tab on the Board webpage.

As a reminder, if an applicant fails to achieve a passing score within three years of obtaining Board approval to sit for an exam, the applicant must reapply and meet all current entry requirements (refer to 18VAC10-20-260.F of the Board Regulations).
