The CVV, sometimes listed on cards as Security Code, is a three-digit number printed on the signature panel on the back of your credit card.
The CVV is a fraud prevention measure that helps verify that you are in possession of the card at the time of the transaction.
Pursuant to §54.1-204.1 of the Code of Virginia, an individual who does not possess a credential may submit a Request for Predetermination of Criminal History to determine whether his or her criminal record would disqualify him or her from being credentialed. By submitting this Request, you are seeking a review of your criminal record to determine whether your criminal record may disqualify you from licensure, certification, or registration.

The Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation has officially discontinued the EPICx project. EPICx was initially developed to enhance licensing and regulatory processes, but after a thorough evaluation, we have determined that it will not proceed further.

The Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation follows the holiday calendar established by the Department of Human Resource Management.
