A Message From The Board

The Common Interest Community Board regulates common interest community managers, as well as certain employees of licensed management firms. The Board's authority also includes condominium and time-share program registrations, and extends to transactions occurring within Virginia, even if the property involved is located outside the Commonwealth. Property owners', condominium unit owners', and proprietary lessees' (cooperative) associations are required to register and file annual reports with the Board.

The Board for Branch Pilots licenses the pilots responsible for safe passage of ships in Virginia's major shipping lanes and waterways. The Circuit Courts of Hampton, Norfolk, and Portsmouth appoint individuals to the nine-member Board, which was created in 1783 and initially chartered by the King of England in the 1600s.

Boxing, Martial Arts and Bare Knuckle Fighting Events 

This does not apply to wrestling events. 

NO CASH for licenses will be taken at events. We ask your cooperation in getting as many fighters, cutman/corners, and managers licensed prior to noon the day before weigh-ins to ensure that these individuals are not incurring the additional $35 on site processing fee.  

Athlete Agent Registration Program

During the 2020 Session of the General Assembly, the legislature established a mandatory registration program for Athlete Agents, to be administered by the Director of the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR).
